Processes product coefficients and converts units for a mining operation model.

This function either refits model coefficients using input data or loads pre-existing coefficients. It selects the relevant product and site data, performs unit conversion from long tons (LT) to dry metric tonnes (mt), and prepares a performance DataFrame.

Parameters:

config (object) --

Configuration object containing: - model (dict): Includes refit_coeffs (bool) to determine

whether to refit coefficients, inputs_fp (str) for input file path, and coeffs_fp (str) for coefficients file path.

• product_selection (str): The selected product to process.

• site (dict): Contains name (str), the site name.

Returns:

pandas.DataFrame -- Processed DataFrame with selected product data, converted units, and filtered coefficients for performance modeling.

Raises:

• ValueError -- If the selected product or site is not found in the
